I've got one!
But I don't think it will catch on as quickly as it did in the States. People over there seem more willing to try new things, and do conversions and stuff that is not just made by 'the factory' than we are over here (RC wise anyways)...

Bury Metro will let them join in if there is enough. We had a few at one of our indoor meetings and I thought they went well.

I hope it takes off its just the running times and battery prices that put me off at the moment .

I think there's also a lot more people over there so percentages wise it might not be thatttttt different. ?

I don't suppose you've seen a conversion for the 801XT have you?

The batteries are quite expensive if you buy 4S packs, but there is nothing to stop you using 2 2S packs which could reduce the outlay considerably. Some cars are being released with battery trays for twin 2S packs as opposed to a single 4S pack and I have run twin Core 5000 packs in my PC Products Design RC8 conversion.

Run times are pretty damn good if you ask me, I did a 15 minute final at the weekend, plus a couple of warm up laps on a Flightpower 4500 pack at the weekend.
