Default Problem with Novak GTB

I have installed a Novak GTB Brushless system in my Lazer but i'm having a couple of problems with it first i think i can live with but the thing is when you first switch on the ESC the motor spins up for a second or two then stops, Is this normal?

Second problem is a bit more of a pain sometimes when you give it full throttle out of a corner it doesn't give you full throttle i would say it only runs around half throttle but if you back off then give it full throttle again it will clear and go like stink!!! anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

Del

Thanks mate i had a read of that but i'm using the 2.4ghz system anyway and i wouldn't have called my problem glitching (or am i wrong on the meaning of glitching?)

Sometimes it's fine come out of a corner or off the start line give it full throttle and it just goes but sometimes it just holds back until you release the trigger then go for it again then it clears.

if youy hold car and turn of transmitter does it spin up then? if so your 2.4 fail safe is set on partial throttle.you may need the capacitor on your 2.4 are you on the light grey version or the pro?

From my experience, the Spektrum wont go to its trimmed neutral throttle until a second or so after power on. So if you have had to adjust the throttle trim on the spektrum it will drive the wheels for a second at power on.

The answer is to teach your speedo a neutral setting to match the Spektrum with 0 throttle trim. So set throttle trim to 0 on the controller then go throgh the speedo teach routine.

Sorry I cant ofer any ideas on the second problem.
