Default Name......

Do we want to change the club name?

Based on previous experience with venue issues it might be worth moving away from using a specific place name

Possible suggestion North East Off Road Racing/Club

Thoughts/suggestions please

All ideas welcome.

I will be calling an AGM shortly, I will put this item on the Agenda.

My 2p

North East does seem obvious, but then there does seem some merit in having something a bit more catchy, i.e. now we are generally known regionally as Jarrow Club. It may also be difficult to avoid confusion with NERCR. What about Durham, in consideration of the location of our new venue

"Offroad" - I do not think we should restrict ourselves to one class of racing in the name. All are welcome and if there are the numbers then we have said at the meeting last week we would run a touring car heat.

TW&T MCR

Tyne, Wear and Tees Model Car Racers

just don't use and in the title otherwise it'd the club could be known as Twat's

or how about something with just Tyne & Wear in the title

Tyne & Wear Racers, I like that one. Avoid using Durham club as a name.... could get confusing with the old durham club.

We were discussing changing the name of our club due in part to venue change.....some bright spark came up with Weald And North Kent

We could call it the David Pack Smasher club after the number of cars he's wrecked...

TWAT MCR gets my vote, top craic

Seriously Chris did you not see the winky smiley after Durham

TW RCR - Tyne & Wear RC Racing
- probably covers most every possibility in terms of venue.
- not very inspired or exciting, but there you go.
