Default XXXT mid motor Short Course Truck

Well i am building another XXX SCT out of another one of my trucks that i dont run anymore.
This truck will use a aluminum chassis with front and rear chassis braces
and the XXX-NT front bulkhead.
Here is a few pics of the start i have got the trans flipped already and
modded the T-plate for mock up and also modded the motor plate to clear the hinge pin brace.

I narrowed the front stub axles and installed the XXXT-NT front bulkhead today as well as i narrowed the rear end with a few different parts than i used on my other Losi.
For the rear of this truck i used all GenII trans parts and i will explain what i did. Since the GenII is wider it makes it a little easier to narrow down but since i have a GenI trans here is what i did.
Parts used for this build are MF2 VLA hubs,MF2 GenII axles and GenII trans outdrive cups.
Since the GenII stuff is wider i had to machine 1/8 of an inch off of each drive cup to allow it to fit in the GenI trans case.
With this mod done and the VLA hubs on the outer hole the axles are now the correct length and do not bind or want to fall out of the cups.
Here are a few pics of the truck and the mods so far.

Here are a few pics of the finished diff.
The first pic you can see the silver spots on each side is the material
i took off of the drive cups to allow them to fit into the GenI trans
case.
The second pic shows the difference in GenI and GenII trans parts.
The GenII cups are on the left already installed on the diff and the shorter GenI cup on
the right.

Take a look at my xxx-cr conversion http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27655

I've got slightly different battery layout as it's common in mid motor conversions. It runs very nicely and worth trying. You even won't need to use low profile servo as SC trucks have longer chassis.

Here are some updated pics of the chassis. Topdeck is being cut and fit along
with the front and rear standoffs for the top deck and rear trans brace.
Chassis still has to be counter sunk for the hardware.
This truck will run a custom painted Blitz body but here is a pic of what fitment is like.
