Can't wait to see yours run at weekend James I'll be sure to ask how it goes at the end of the day!

It is all personal preference though with these cars, a good driver could drive a Durango, Lazer, AE, Losi or whatever other car very fast. Some people prefer different cars it's as simple as that, you never know James the Durango might not be for you, Sunday will be the day you find out!

Lol, - dude! you've made me sound like I've told you not to buy one!
I was actually advising you to stick with your car and learn to get it set up - not look for a different car (I think it was the Lazer you were looking at mostly) and hope that it would make things all better on its own.

I also said and I quote "If I had to have one car this would be the one" - about the Durango.

I'll have Rob Hopkins on me now thinking I'm dissing his products!

Rob Hopkins pal .....

To be clear Jimmy's words were "if i had to have one it would be the durango"

Nose what you were saying Jimmy - chuffin learn to set my existing car up proper and drive without crashing....lol

Obviously this is true and buying a durango aint going to make me quicker (apart form the fact i wont want to crash it - should help!)

but it will make me happier jst knowing i have a better car than my mates !!!!!!

It's like a Jewel - have you raced it yet? the first scratch is the most painful. Mind you, you should be safe in Bury - until you go outdoors anyway

All id say is you need to get used to how to set the durango up as its very different to all other cars out there due to the geared diffs.

Speak to any of the team drivers about how to set the car up and you will not be disappointed.

Should go well James, you're right it is a good car but you still might not like it! I've spent money on expensive 1/8th scales and not liked the driving style and gone to others and loved them... Jimmy is right though it is better to stick to one car and do your best with it, learning setups, getting consistent laps e.t.c.

Oh and the "2nd rate machine" was sold new, I still haven't ran a 4WD yet so the Durango will be my first, I won't have anything to compare it to. Coming from 1/8th scale is what's drawn me too it with the way it's built and the gear diffs are a big bonus for me.
