2010 oOple Race Announced - June 12-13
After a couple of weeks of heavy discussion and planning between the oOple crew, we are proud to announce our first 'oOple race' - the 2010 oOple Invernational!
 Date – June 12th & 13th, with some free practice on Friday 11th. Venue - RHR, Nottinghamshire UK- robinhoodraceway.com Summer 2010 will see the inaugural running of the oOple Invernational. Planned as a mid-summer festival of RC, complete with off track attractions, it will be run to a US style big event format. oOple forum members and international guests will be invited to compete to be ‘oOple Champion’. The format will be new to many UK drivers, with 2wd and 4wd being run across both days. Friday Evening (optional)– Practice Saturday – Driver registration, Timed practice & 4 qualifying rounds Sunday – 1 qualifying round & triple leg finals for all. Limited entries will be available, ensuring massive track time, particularly for those competing across multiple classes. Classes: 2wd 10th Electric Off-Road – 80 entries available 4wd 10th Electric Off-Road – 80 entries available Electric Open – TBA Another first for many will be race duration, the meeting will run with all heats and finals being timed at 6 minutes each, for even more track-time. Andy Jones is up for this depending on how the newborn baby is doing!
It's a cracking idea and although I'm sure it's still in it's early stages I have a feeling it is going to be awesome!!
