I was just curious to know the technical name for the suspension used in the x10 and 11. I know its used in various other things such as Formula 1. I was trying to do a bit of research to understand this technology better, but it'd help if i actually knew what it was called.

I did a little google searching on both those names, but nothing seeming to be relevant, any one have a good read or link about them. perhaps ill check "how things work", they usually have some good animated diagrams. btw, thanks for the input.

Have a look for 'rising rate' suspension too

Out of all the names given, pushrod is the most 'innuendo'

push rod seems to be it, "rising rate suspension" also came up with some interesting stuff. I have only been able to find general descriptions and some interesting pictures of various applications. Does any one know any good technical papers, as Im more interested in the engineering side of the suspension. Thanks for all the help guys!!
