Default What brass to use for making my own parts

I need to make a few custom brass parts and would like to know what type do i need. Ive seen cz108 type on ebay but am wondering if its quite hard or soft.

Id ideally like something that i can cut, file and saw by hand. Any recommendations?

Hi, I personally have used CZ108 brass for car parts, it has good cold working properties so ideal for sawing bending etc. If you were going to machine the parts on a mill or lathe get CZ121. Hope this has helped.
