which brushless 1/8th!
just found new club here in spain(gata de gorgos)running 1/8th off-roaders.can someone recomend something 1/8th brushless,as i dont know nothing about this scale.even though all the members except 1 av nitros,they seem to realise the electric buggies are more than a match for there nitros,avin seen a losi keep up with them today.i can go to 500 pounds,for that wud be nice to get a rtr and maybe a couple of spare batteries.p.s-any ideas on tyres as this track is 100% loose dirt!! cheers

I race an E Mugen mbx6 but if you are looking to stay in a budget (500p=$750 us dollars) then the associated, or Hyper 9 as well as the hot bodies D8E are kits that you can get for around $400 and still have some money to buy electronics and a few batteries. They wont be as durable or handle like a Losi or Mugen but hey, you get what you pay for. Personally I'd just buy a used Losi or Mugen or wait and save up for a good one and avoid getting any 2nd rate alternative.

is there a website for this track as i holiday in moraira each year so may come and check it out
sorry for the thred hijack by the way the cheapest way of doing a brushless car is to convert a nitro.novak do a kit for most cars and it is priced well 29 usd, i would get a car that you can get parts for easily and convert it. Mike

thanks 4 the replies guys,i av been looking at the rc8 or the losi 8ight.(converting a nitro is worth looking into,as there was a buggy on ebay today with both ic and elec)mike i live near moraira and the track is 10/15 mins away.to find out about the track u will av to go to cochesrc,then forum,then valencia people.the club is under tt circuit nitrosocar gata de gorgos.the page auto translates to english but can be funny as it is not word 4 word.

inferno VE is a good buy. its an RTR.
You could get some lipos and fit well in your budget. The Electrics are very good in fact same as the team guys use. You can run the car which is very good out the box but a bit heavier than the latest generation of 1/8th. Or put the electrics into an MP9e Chassis or another competition buggy and have as good as car as you could want. Then you have a complete race roller to sell. We found doing this way is the cheapest way to get competitve for this class.

one of our guys runs an inferno ve brushless jobbie, seems to keep up with the nitros and gets almost 20 mins running twin lipo packs (14 volts)
seems pretty durable to
