Default GT5 - more of the same :(

Seen the "official" car list now on GTPlanet.com - some good new stuff on there but very disappointed that most of it is just reheated GT2/3/4 contents. What exactly have they been doing for 5 years, one hell of a lot of polishing of the old stuff by the look of it.

Gives you some idea of Polyphony Digital's mindset that there are 12 Ferraris in the game and 13 Honda Civic's. No sign of what we would call bread and butter European stuff like 3 door Sierrra Cosworths, Mk2 Escorts, etc and before anybody says "but its a Japanese game", they are selling into a world market.

Simpy put: nice effort but too much Japanese domestic market emphasis (18+ variants of the Honda S2000). Will still buy it and have fingers crossed for some good stuff coming out via downloads.

That list is pee poor. There's an Escort Cosworth which is cool and the 2CV would be a laugh but most of the rest are just Duplicated models . I'll stick with Forza.
