Durango oil

Iam going to be running in doors half carpet half polished floor with jumps and want to know witch oil will do the job,i have read the post below but not to sure if 40wt is hard or 90wt is soft???

With shock oil the higher the weight is the thicker the oil (eg 90wt is thicker than 40wt).

35wt front and 30wt rear is a good starting point on the 410, ghea pistons are ace! im using 2 x 1.2mm front and 3 x 1.2mm rear, all good!

Go on Durango website for team drivers set ups, very usefull

Hi Mark.
Ive done a search on these ghea pistons and found them from the same place as you got yous i think(previous link).
I have not built the shocks yet Question are the pistion in the kit not as good then???and it it well worth buying a set or 2?

Hi mate,

the kit pistons are absolutely fine but you will prob need to drill them depending on what surface your racing on. I use standard Durango 2 hole pistons up front, drilled to 1.3mm and 3 hole pistons in the rear drilled to 1.3mm.

The GHEA pistons are tapered which means they rebound quicker. This helps on tracks with ruts and loads of small bumps as the shock rebounds quicker. This keeps the wheels on the ground ready to soak up the next bump.

There not essential but a good tuning option.
