Saw a topic on another forum, in which people had used novak BL motors with the mamba max esc
can anyone confirm this? or has tried it? |

The Orion Vortex/Peak something or others work with it quite well if you get the settings right, mine cogged quite a bit at first on start off but with the timing moved slightly its spot on, same with the GM motors (exactly the same in all but label). Also the MTroniks plasma PRO motors are meant to work if you want to go that way.

What i did was mess on with the settings on the computer till i found it was best, then took it into my LHS, the guy told me to turn the motor timing so the 'B' on the endbell is under the right hand side solder tab which made it almost spot on, aslo there is apparently some dry solder joints on the sensor part of the circuit board that make it work better once re-soldered, havent attempted this myself so not sure.
