Hi. As well as running a club night on a friday Westbridgford also run an Off road and On road Championship at the weekends once a month. Have a look at their website www.wbmcc.com. for details. It costs 16 pound a year to become a racing member at the club and you'll also need a brca licence which is 13 pound a year. I say it's well worth joining .

It's 13 pounds to become a racing member wes.. So with the Brca it would be 26 pounds altogether.

Obviously you don't have to join the club to race at it, but after you have raced three times you will need a BRCA licence before you can run at the club again. BRCA licence can be sourced from www.brca.org but it will cost 15 pounds as opposed to 13.

Ah, just posted the same as above in your other thread.

Wes - I think we charge you £16 pounds because you're "special needs" mate.

Reg the Cobra was Mardave's 2wd buggy i think so there is a class for it. Fast Eddie don't worry about peeing people off as the heats are set to ablity so you'll be fine. If i snap another chassis i think i'll be getting dropped a heat .

Hi mate,

Bring it down! You'll be in the off-road class with the rest of us. We usually have 2 heats of off-road. We mix 2WD and 4WD and seed people based on their ability. So I guess you'll be in the lower heat if you've not raced for some time but there are drivers of all abilities racing at the club. It'd be great to see an old Mardave Cobra going round again.

On a Friday night the track is flat carpet with 2 or 3 small-is ramps and occaisionally we use a larger table-top jump. We also have a Sunday off-road series once a month where we set out a full off-road track with more features. See wbmcc.com for the dates.

Anyway, hope to see you at the club soon. One word of advice - if you are going to come to race I suggest you pre-book by sending your details (name, class, crystals, ability) to booking@wbmcc.com to ensure that you get a place. We restrict driver numbers to ensure that we have time for 4 rounds of racing on a Friday night.

Yep, that'll be me. Black Cougar SV. Chris says "pretty quick" but he meant to say "ballistic". And compared to him it's "super-ballistic".

Not racing next week but come and seek me out next time you're there. I don't bite.

In a straight line we are evenly matched, but for some reason I don't do corners very well
