Default Mode spread out grids?

Hi all. Had a good day today. Good racing for most of the day.
Does anyone else think that more spread out grids would be a good idea for the finals? There's certainly room for it.
I've done all four rounds so far and been caught up in first lap carnage in three of them.
Maybe I'm just unlucky lol. (or crap before anyone else says it lol)

Yeah I don't think it would hurt to space out the grid a lil more Chris

But it wouldn't make much difference if folk 'inch' up on the grid before the final bleep goes off...

Think it was mentioned at the start of one of the finals last weekend.

Yes it was mentioned at the start of my final and there was still carnage lol. Didn't see who was inching though. I started from the marked position. Maybe I should start near the back and be the basher next time lol.

we had this issue at our club.

without marks on the floor people would start like a foot behind the next person and a pile-up would happen on the 1st corner. Also grids starting around corners were common lol.

I've since made sure all grids start on a straight and are equal distance apart which is about 4ft between each car. No pile-ups have happened since and we have clean starts all the time.
