Default Jörn Neumann - 2011 4WD European Champion

Jörn Neumann took his second European Championship title last weekend at the 2011 EFRA EP off road euros with his Team Durango DEX410. Qualifying second behind reigning UK and European champion Lee Martin who was driving the Tamiya TRF502 shaft driven car, Jörn took control in the opening two legs of the final despite some close racing from both Neil Cragg (Associated B44.1) and Lee Martin - neither driver could make the pass and Jörn held on for the win with one leg still to go.

The order finished:
Jorn Neumann - Team Durango
Lee Martin - Tamiya
Neil Cragg - Associated
Hupo Honigl - Team Durango
Marc Rheinard - Tamiya
Victor Wilck - Tamiya
Paul Bradby - Associated
Martin Kriel - Team Durango
Peter Pinisch - Associated
Grant Williams - Schumacher

Awesome work from Durango and Jörn! I thought Lee was still running the TRF511 in the last few races, when did he change to the TRF502?

Yes, great result for Jörn and Team Durango!

Think Lee tried both 511 and 502X. Decided to run 502X. Rheinard and Wilck went for the 511.

Thumbs up Great news

Its great to see the spread of manufacturers across the podium. Gives us all a real good feeling that drivers and products are great quality across the board. Things are looking really good for Lee Martin these days and Jorn/Durango get stronger all the time. Well done all and respect for the hard work and commitment by everybody associated
