yes you do (or at least you seem to) but i would guess there is a point at which it would be reassigned if you didn't renew.

i had a really lowish 20** number for a few years, let it lapse for a year & the new one i got is 160** which is very different

Mine is in the 4 hundreds, I must have got a real early one reassigned!!
