Default Is it safe to run without a fan on speedo??

HI,
running a Speed Passion GT2 pro, with a 7.5 / 6.5 on a cougar, is it safe to run without a fan??? Big thanks in advance.

I had a 7.5 in my SV and ran a SP GT LPF with no fan and no probs.

Probably, but it still comes down to the gearing you're running and what kind of temps you register. A fan is really just a safety measure and/or bandaid some people rely on because they think it's going to save a ESC, but if it's overtaxed you could strap a house fan to it and it'd still burn up.

It should be fine. You could run it with the overheat protection on and it thermal if it gets to hot.

Im running 83 spur and 24 pinion at the moment with LRP 5300 45c. With standard kit internal ratio setup.
