Default Issues sxx?

Just fitted a brand new sxx version 2 into my new dex210 and a new x12 6.5t. Set the speedo as per instructions ran fine on the bench. But as soon as I put it on the floor it would not go more than 3 foot before turning itself off. Changed motor and receiver still no better. Turned the high point on the transmitter down and it was better but only managed 4 laps before it turned off and now won't turn on at all. Just woundering if anyone had the same problem or any info that might help me understand this.

Hi
I've has a similar prob, I'm no expert but I've been told some speed controllers draw more power than others from the reciever loosing signal , I have no prob with v1 but some with v2 I fitted a capacitor to the reciever which seems to help you can get on e bay for 3 or 4 pounds, they just plug in to any empty slot on the reciever
Hope this helps

Hi, are you using 40Mhz or 2.4Ghz because I believe the version 2 SXX and Nosram Pearl will not work with 40Mhz.
