Default Taking photos at regionals?

hi there

just wanted to know really how close to the track can you get if you want to take photos of the action?

How do you mean? legally or before you die?

I have been stopped a few times and last time out I got told off (oswestry) but you gotta deal with it if you want to get the shot. Places like Halifax onroad circuit really don't let anyone take photos inside the track - you'll never see a great photo from that track.
But most places don't really care as long as you have a BRCA licence and dont be too silly.

With the fisheye I have to get VERY close, I have to hold it at arms length so I dont get hit in the head. And the lens has been hit before by a car.

Apart from with the fish eye, I tend to be a bit further from the action now a days and leave the stunts to the new hot shots like Stu Evans, you'll see him commando style in the thick of the action.

Long as they don't hit me in the head its ok.
