Default Mad Rat RTR refusing to run

Hi all,

Firstly apologies if I'm being an idiot. It wouldn't be the first time....

Anyway Mrs Pistol was kind enough to buy me a Mad Rat RTR for Xmas but at the moment its sat on my lounge floor looking pretty but not doing much.

I think it might be binding issue but to be honest thats just something I got off Google.

These are the symptoms. I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

1) Turn on the Tx and the Green and Red lights come on.
2) Turn on the car on and a light flashes briefly on the Rx before going out and a solid red light on the esc.
3) thats about it......

Can anyone shed light on my dilema?

Thanks

DP

Does sound like binding - the receiver light should stay lit.

Follow the instructions for the transmitter to bind. You'll need the bind plug in the pack of spares

try turning on the tx and putting full acceleration on, then turning on the car, wait for it to beep then put full in reverse, wait for it to beep then let go into neutral......

worth a go

you may want to suspend it, chassis on a brick, wheels spinning free before full throttle is used, if it starts it will take off with speed, if your fingers are near the wheels it can be painful. where are you? thinking re local clubs/shops
