Don't think so... not an on road fan tbh but did get a mardave a while back as i live near Ardent, the guys that run it are ace and it was to keep my thumbs loosened and hopefully tidy my buggy lines up a bit..

had it for 3 weeks cos the politics were horrendous... but tried my 7.4V lipo saddles when i got bored with trundling around the track... even with the G2 motor it was 1/12 speed if not faster and if it had been allowed i would have probably stuck with it

That's a fantastic looking bit of kit for under £100. Looks tight for the electrics though?

Can't wait to buy one

It looks amazing value lots of ideas here back to the Schumacher routes of pan cars in the way the rear end and motor is mounted. Great to see them trying to revitisle this area of the sport.

I had my grubby little hands on this last week and it's very nice and there will be a diff option coming out for it also but not yet !
The roll stiffness can be adjusted by moving the rear springs inward or outward via the 6 points on the rear. The springs are in the inner most points in the picture.

It is a pan car!

it's also a 1/12th saloon.

It's not a Mardave!

Value for money wise this wins hands down...

hope its a single make Superstox class, preferably not linked to the existing series/championships

hope there will just be a motor wind limit or cheap control motor at worst and allow any modifications/tyres/bodies/aftermarket bits etc etc for the class, maybe 1s and 2s classes if needed and none of the other B.S politics and stupid monopoly on sales for anything connected type rules as with existing racing of similar types.

tbh i only want one for indoor winter club racing and playing down at Ardent during their open practice days... would have kept the Mardave if id realised i could run it at Broxtowe indoors during winter.

You haven't seen a Mardave recently then

Alloy, carbon, titanium, all sorts of adjustments, and thats on the new Mardave V12VRXcec.

And thats a tenner more than the SupaStox.

I really Like the look of this !
A proper designed car

Sold all my mardave's as they were crap
Between the plastics braking and the metal bending the car was never the same for two races, and don't get me started on the politics of the class !

( Role on the abuse, lol !!!!! )

The only way this would ever be allowed in the oval classes is if the drivers vote it in, oval racing will remain a Mardave/Kamtec monopoly for some time.

It's aimed at the Mardave circuit racing class, which is currently run with much more expensive Mardave V12VRXcec cars with carbon chassis and alloy rear pods and lexan Lotus GT or Mazda 6 bodies. I wouldn't class those as traditional Mardaves either.

There are fundamental differences that mean this isn't and will never be a pan car.

The BRCA is currently trying to sort out rules for a new GT12 class as a support class for 1/12th to replace the Mardaves only class they ran last year. The draft rules are for 1S lipo with a 13.5 motor. There is nothing in the proposed rules stopping anyone fitting the Schumacher 4 link rear suspension on a Mardave V12 either.

Discussion is going on over on Racechat http://rcracechat.com/vb/showthread....omments-please
