Whats the rules for new people wanting to have a go ?, I have a friend at work who would like a go at racing before taking the plunge, would he be able to race once in my spare 2wd buggy without joining the BRCA and the club ?

Your ok to race for 3 meetings then you have to join as either a club member (which includes brca membership) or just a brca membership.

Normal racing will carry on as usual just like any other meeting with 2wd and 4wd but with a seperate heat for cars from the early 90's or older

Urm, not sure if it's worth it if there is only a couple of us. I might run normal class and run the vintage in a couple of rounds or something? I might bring 2 race and 2 vintage and see what happens on the night

There's usually a few doing vintage, haven't we had two heats before? Hopefully there will be enough of us for one heat. Suppose I'll bring the b4 just in case, although it will still be covered in mud

Kennard (my mate), is lucky enough to have my old B4. It's relativly well kitted out actually though the diff is a bit rough and the servo is SLOW.

Plenty good enough for a first nights racing!

Don't forget guys - track building from 5:30, booking in shortly after and I'll try to run the computer so racing should be starting 6:30/6:45 so we can try to get 4 rounds and a final in. Turn up late and you'll not be racing!!

Well, more likely 3 rounds and 2 leg finals, but we really need to kick it's arse if it's a busy night to get that much racing in

My opinion is that we should start say an hour earlier then we wouldnt be all so late home and we could maybe get more racing in?

Not realy do-able, lil Ben. We have the hall from 5:30, so what we need is more people turning up that early andlending a hand with whatever needs doing to get racing started earlier.
In theory there is no reason why booking in shouldn't close at 6:00/6:15 and racing start at 6:30 on the dot giving 4 full hours of racing, but in practice there are never enough bodies helping and people turn up late that hold things up.
