tyre compounds

On grass with a 4wd buggy. When would you change compounds. Mainly shumie mini spikes. For when grass is wet. Dry. Worn. Ect. Is there a guide anywhere explaning this

This is for 1/8th scale but I think the compounds still apply.

That guide seams helpfull but when would the green or blue compound be used.
