Default Royal Mail Price Increase, How This Effects You.

Hi,

As most of you will be aware Royal Mail are to increase postal prices on the 1st May, they are taking this step to hopefully allow them to become profitable again. So how much more will it cost?

DOUBLE on 75% of items we ship.

e.g.
The current price to send a pair of Mini Spikes/Bottle of shock oil is £1.36 from next month this will cost £2.70.

Where does this leave us?

In the same position Royal Mail are currently, unable to operate and cover our costs.

What are we going to do?

This is what I've been asking myself for the last few weeks and Ive decided that we are going to have to start charging a small amount on all orders under £25.00. Ive done lots of calculations and have come up with a cost of £2.00, The reason its so high is because other parts of there service have also increased for e.g. the cost of sending a item Recorded.

So from the 1st of May all orders under £25.00 will attract a carriage fee of £2.00 and all orders over will remain carriage paid.

This only effects UK orders, all overseas orders are charged at cost.
