Default ETronix Battery Doctor

Hi guys

i bought a used one of these from here but sadly the instructions were missing. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to use it please. Currently, i have set it up as below. As soon as the 2mm balance lead is plugged in the display goes off. Am i using the wrong lead ?

It does bud, having spoken to a "top flight" driver who use the same charger, apparently his wasnt balancing properly. I know a few of the big names use the ETronix so i grabbed a bargain when i saw it. Now, how to use the bloody thing

It can balance on it's own, is that working? I used to have one so I will try to remember what you need to do..

Ok - i have sussed the main problem out, the three pin plug has the two red wires wired the wrong way round from the factory. If anyone has a link to a pdf for the instructions for the unit then it would be much appreciated

Hey,

It's a simple enough unit. I've instructions here somewhere if you are stuck.

Plug it in. Will display the voltage of each cell in the pack, press balance, unit will discharge the cell with the higher voltage. (Display will show, which cell in being discharged.) Press cancel to stop.

Other function is discharge, where it will discharge all cells in the pack to a pre-defined level, user set.

(Some info from the CML site: http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/pro...ischarging.pdf)

I use it a lot for the three cell tranny packs.

MiCk B. :-)
