Default Thursday electric at Wakefield !

THURSDAY ! Not Wednesday, I got it wrong...

Hope no one minds me posting this here, just want to make the Batley faithfuls aware that there is some electric dirt racing happening near by

So, just to let all the Batley regulars know, MMRX in wakefield are having an electric practise night this wednesday the 7th of July.

I went for a look last week, and despite initial reservations the 10th cars looked well on the track. Andy - who owns the track has calmed a lot of the jumps down to make them 10th friendly, and I wished i'd taken a 10th electric along for a go. Not sure if I can make it this wednesday, but worth a look if you fancied having a run on a dirt track and can make it along.

Hi Andy.

No idea really, as last Thursday only a handful of people turned up ! I think no-one really knew it was on - hence the post here.

It's all hard packed dirt. Chalky ran a B4 around and a 4WD 10th and they looked ok on the tyres he had. I would think anything softish would be ok.

I would guess that the mountains of tyres that come with B4 kits and the like that we never really use would be spot on !

Personally, if i make it along i'll just take a bag of all sorts, the stuff I never use, stuff like Losi red dot / silver dots etc.
