Default Speed Passion LPF - Weak brakes

Had it a number of years now, but at Silverstone last weekend I found the brakes pretty weak, even after turning the settings up on the ESC.

Would this be a capacitor issue?

Running the latest software - mod with an 8.5

What car were you running it in? indoors everything gets hot, did you have a fan on it?, as the brakes do go soft if the speedo gets excessivly hot.

It's been indoors and out.

ESC wasn't hot, but I can put a fan on.

What age is the 8.5 motor? The brakes get worse as the rotor fades. Also running the higher wind motors tends to result in less brakes.

Not sure on it's age, but it's not been used a great deal. I haven't used it all yeah and it hand't had much running previously.

Have a Tekin RS Pro spare and Orion R10 in my DB1, that may get moved.

There been some chat on RCTech about this with the Reventon Series Brakes
They are saying to run a higer DRRS3.0 value to get better brakes.

Not sure about the GT2.0LPF !

That doesn't make sense, why run more punch to improve the brakes??

Even if you are not using reverse, if you increase it the brakes improve.
