BRUSHLESS MOTOR

Well ive just installed my first brushless motor! not run the car yet but have a question, when i turn the wheels it seems to be a lot nosier than it was when i had a brushed motor it, the pinion seems to do a half rotation the "pop" and rotate a bit faster. is this normal with brushless motors it feel like the magnets pulling it round. hope someone understands what i mean
