leisure battery required?

Afternoon all,

I will shortly be making a return to racing and was just wondering...with LIPOs would 2 packs (5200 45C) be enough for an entire days racing without the need to lug a seperate 12V battery around?

I remember my caravan battery falling over in the boot of my dad's car many years ago and the acid leaking out, melting through his boot carpet and floor - he was well pleased.

Also it would save me about 50 quid which would be very handy after shelling out for all the exciting stuff!
