Hey up folks...
After running my XX-4 for the first time on Sunday at Marston, I was pleased with the performance, but was a little unsure of what changes to make. I had put the 'magic' setup on the car, which has been posted before, but was wondering what changes people make to the car for mild tuning (if any)? I moved the top of the rear shocks in one hole for Rd4 as the back seemed a little loose and bouncy over the bumps, this seemed better, but I had rather a lot of understeer in the final.... (Guess the track had worn by then and the grip gone down a lot) Also what changes would be made ready for carpet/indoor running on yellow minipins? I had a novak 6.5R (sintered) geared on 82 (yellow) to 16 pinion. Does this sound okay. The motor was warm to the touch, but I could hold it for around 5 seconds easily without burning my fingers!
