Capacitor problem with bullistorm 120 esc

Hi

Just got my bullistorm 120a esc and soldered the capacitor to the battery terminals of the esc. Now, I switched on my esc and heard a hissing from the capacitors. No smoke or smell. The capacitors did go warm which I found unusual.

I have soldered red to red and black to black, so what could be wrong?

Please suggest what do to. I suspect I'll need new capacitors but I can't understand why this happened. Maybe dodgy bullistorm stuff!
