Futaba specialist needed!

A mate have a futaba 3gr 2.4 serial number A81062611 bought second hand
He is new to the sport and as taken out his aftermarket lipo, he has then struggled to get the plug back in and get it to power up, so were suspecting
He has shorted the -/+ he didnt noticed and pop spark or smell....
Can anyone point us in the right direction to get it fixed/looked at or is it a bin
