The yuntongs i'm using are just about perfect as I'm sure are most (all) brca or roar legal lipo saddle packs. These are ~23.5mm high, and you couldn't get anything much bigger than that in without doing some modification.
They are about 68.5mm wide and you could probably go 1-2mm wider maybe at a squeeze.

Thank you for the fast answer.
It won´t fit then the gm 6000 pack. Each cell have (L x W x H) 69 x 46.5 x 31 mm.
Is there any option undertray for the chassis??

DMS do the LRPs for £90. It is just not on the web page. Give them a ring and they should be able to sort some out.

Where did you get them at that price. Searching the usual places I can't find them anywhere near that cheap.

It would be nice to get a couple of sets if they are that price.

I did get them from RC-Union about two months ago
They are based in Hong Kong, sorry dont have the link anymore.

But they sometimes advertise on EBAY aswell.

I know thier UKRC about £10 more but still cheaper than paying GBP of £90

If you search on ebay (make sure you search worldwide, not just local country), they will show up in lots of hong kong dealers.

Personally i'd much rather pay the extra for the LRPs, they have much larger capacity and ridiculous discharge rate. The 4200s will only get you an 8 minute run with an 8.5. The LRPs should run quite a bit longer than that, especially if running a real mod motor like a 5.5.

Why would you want to run for more than 8 minutes!? The heat build up will be immense and you would surely cook something eventually!!

OK guys, so I got me two sets of the LRP 4800mah 40c saddles and they do fit perfectly, however, you need to run them upside down as the lugs underneath add to the height and make them too big. Looks kinda weird, but hey; it works!!!

(Check out the 'electric install' thread, I'm posting pics there as we speak!)

I can´t recommend the LRP 4800 lipo. (Although it fits fine if used upside down).
I did a charge (4,8A) - discharge cycle on 10A and got 3800mAh out of the Lipo - that is exactly the same amount I got out of my GM 4200 Lipo. The discharge curve of both lipos are exactly the same - the voltage of the GM 4200 35C lipo is even a little higher !
Next week I will send the LRP pack back to the manufacturer - but I think all their lipos are overrated.
If you have the possibility to check your lipo capacity it would be very interesting to share your results.

really doesn't matter if there not giving out a full 4800 or what ever as you will use less than a third of that in any normal race, what voltage did you drop them to, and what do lrp use as a cut of voltage??

I've used their stick pack equivalents and they have always given me the most ampage. I never run my packs down that low, so the output ampage is my main concern rather than how long I can get that ampage as a constant. This sort of thing is always subjective. Different chargers/dischargers measure differently and many of the manufacturers measure their outputs differently. You also get completely different readings depending on the temperature that you run them at. I've used all sorts of Lipo's, but most of them are made by just a few different companies an then just re-branded. Kokam are the best in the world in my opinion, but again, it all depends on your application. I've run 6S set-ups at 240amps constant and always had to pre-heat my lipo's to get the best from them. All I know is; the LRP range has always given me the best 'punch' and I've never lost a cell yet!!
