Some great photos stu, shame about the overcastness but there'll be plenty of time this summer for it im sure.
I got a couple of photos of the 12th racing yesterday, it was pretty dark in there and they were a bit mad to follow with the cam. :jimmeh http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/chesterfield180306/ |

Oi Stu, I thought you were joking when you said you were going to put up a photo of my failed attempt to catch Tricky's low flying Losi. Look at the concentration on my face, lmao!!!

Cheers Jimmy.
I think I need a USM lense (or pre-focus), the big apperture I was using was making it a bit hard work. Roll on summer days. A few folk saw the orange 'oople' on the camera & suggested I get my hair redded-up, jury's out! |

Its blue now !!! hehe.
pre focus is the best bet, Ive had some great photos from pre focusing, it can be a bit frustrating but you can really get great shots when you time it properly. you were taking photos where ive been at bury, along the straight, thats a really good place to get close up shots when they are in the air. I would always pre focus for those like. |
