Sounds to me as if people are trying to blow smoke.
So let me get this straight, your advice/opinion only matters if your F1 F2 and been in this sport for many years? Believe me a newbie could know a lot more technical data and helpful tips than say someone whose been driving for 10 years, just because their name is not well know then they don't know what they are talking about? As has been said, if you have concerns over someone's true identity why not just PM them and ask?

Internets a dangerous place so people should respect other people privacy if you wish to put your name its your choice but i don't agree with making it compulsory.
F grading etc are nice to have as it shows your attachments at brca races but tbh its not really necessary for this forums as not every one races BRCA. what difference will it make either way to me? not a lot at all.

To be honest I don't see it as that much different to meeting someone new at a track, if they don't spout a load of crap you are likely to get to know them and to respect their views, if they do you'll pay little attention to them. In person, some people wear sponsored gear, some don't. On here if people choose to be as anonymous as possible, they may not be taken as seriously, although they could be completely anonymous and have a long history of great posts, which gives credibility in itself. So basically "I don't care", it's personal choice, just like how you present yourself in person is.
