Wild Willy?

In the vintage races is it vintage electrics too? brushed motors and ni cads or just whatever to get the old girls running?

Cheers

The wild willy was meant to handle badly though!

We discussed the whole brushed v brushless and he consensus was run whatever you like. Most people seem to have gone brushless but 10.5 (or slower). Same for batteries too, I think everyone's gone lipo.

I haven't seen a Tomy for a long long time!

Hehe i remember having a head on with Dave when he got taken out and his YZ10 wishbone snapped in half. Still damn nice car and will easily compete with the new cars. I won several big events with a YZ10.

I preferred my zxr alongside my B2. I havent driven anything better than the B2 so intend on staying with it.

Craig, i didnt think mine was that bad. You just couldnt drive the car according to my gearing. It went well and got me some good results. I agree with the pred as mine was binned at one of the welsh rounds as it was crap.

Pete, im not going to try and persuade you on the lazer as i know the yok suited you and Dave better. It worked well for me as it was twitch city and would turn instantly no matter what grip or tire including Craigs cut n shuts. Built like a tank and simple to rebuild. I changed a rear belt in Neath and Craig couldnt believe it took less than five minutes. Still i miss my original and still cant find the tub chassis which is gutting.

Lol, only playing James!
But yes, I'd love another Yokomo, shame they go for such silly money and spares are so rare

Cars I'd like to see in no particular order on the track at the same time would be:

Schumacher XLS
RC10 MIP 4WD
Tamiya Egress
Tomy Intruder
Cougar 2 Works
The Lunchbox
Anything RC10!

Come on guys search through your cupboards and get them going, other than the MIP RC10 i bet that this list is totally possible to get on the track!

I had a clod buster but is now at the bottom of Cwmbran boating lake. Did quite well as i got halfway across before it decided to sink. I forgot to glue the tyres on.
