Will we have to run 100% carpet now with the new floor?

Cheers

We've got no idea how the new floor will be grip wise! A few of us went to the hall on Friday night to check it out, and see what prep, if any, we needed to do.

We've done a few running repairs to things, hoovered and flipped a load of the carpet, and have a few other things still to do.

We might lay more carpet in the short term, to see how new coating works out, but the biggest change will be NO DRAGGING of the track ramps/boxes/wood/goal posts/tables etc. That is absolutely a must so anyone helping with setup and pack down, could we please be really careful. Everything will need to be lifted and carried from now on

what about any thoughts as to the chaps that get there early to set up. obviously 1 man can carry larger jumps by themselves.so with the xtra work of carrying will this lead to a later start and therefore less racing.so could there be something put into place where the early people can leave a message so we know how many will be turning up early and also stay late.. i know there is 1 sack truck but is it worth getting another. ect

Using the sack truck is a good idea, but until we get there this week and try it all out we don't really know how it's going to work

i shall do my normal picking up of the keys and making a start on the track, need to get some rollers or something to move the boxes about as you need at least two people to carry them.

a couple of mechanics creeper trollies like these would do it

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...d_i=B006YM02FG

just lift each end of the item that needs moving onto one of these then wheel it to its intended destination and lift each end off
