join Headquarters games.. Everybody rushes to the HQ to capture it.. You gain points if your team captures the HQ even if your at the other end of the map.. it's good for gaining XP to level up

It's also useful as you will have an idea as to where everybody is heading to, whereas in TDM people could be anywhere as there are no objectives to capture. Staying alive in a HQ match is much easier!

I'm far from good at it, but I find I get more success if I move slowly, stay low and in cover.

keep an eye the the map and check for red-dots.

keep plugging away at it, it does become more statisfying the more you learn how it all 'works'

its just getting used to the area your in and keep moving you can camp for a bit but someone will come and get you if you stay in one place . keep looking at your uav it will show you where to head for, but dont run into the middle of a firefight

and at the end of the day its just practice

some also use modded controllers which give a better fire rate and im sure if your on say 50 meg broadband you can be quicker

Thinking about getting it for my ps3, but always used to play FPS on PC with a keyboard and mouse...and don't like the idea of it on a joypad controller.

I've seen you can get a mouse controller for the PS3 though so maybe that's the trick...but what are people's thoughts on using them against people with controllers...surely it's pretty unfair?

It's extremelly unfair, which is why PC players dont mix with console players.
I hated a joypad at first but you get used to it pretty quickly.

I agree with Ian,

i came from keyboard/mouse and it took a little bit of learning with a controller, the COD control method actually works really well.

and you know that everyone else you are playing with is using the same or similar control method, other than a few people who like to be speshal with hacked controllers

Maybe I'll stick with the pad then...get used to that for online..although these days I could probably do with all the help I can get!

Mouse is sooo fast though...just felt like the ideal way to play FPS's...surely it's got to go that way on PS3/consoles as well in time?

Or maybe the whole motion controller thing will add a new dimension to console FPS's somehow?

Split Fish Frag FX Controller ! Is an ace peice of kit ! Mouse sensitivity control and FRag button which slows it down for the head shots !

Fair ?? Definatly not ! im a PS3 newby and the pad is only good for jumpy games and driving ! Someone who puts the practise in with the frag fx will always outshoot in terms of accuracy a gamepad.
I love mine and will never go back !!!

I have a wireless head set and though it would be great ! But after listning to toss pots brag how long they have been playing it and some of the other crap i now prefer silence. Some people do not have lifes !!!

That's kind of what I try and do. I really need to get used to the maps a bit more.

I'm slowly getting better with practise. Yesterday I was on free for all, and I didn't come last every time. I even killed a couple of people too.

Oh, and Bondy, that's just cheating. Do they do a left-handed version?

Does everybody use the same guns online? I usually use the UMP45. I'm wondering if i should use an assault rifle, or light machine gun? Just wondering what everyone else uses?

I am only level 5 online, so I only have the following:

MPSK
UMP45
M4A1
FAMAS
L86 LSW
RPD
