I only tend to rebuild if the shocks sound gritty or not as smooth as youde like. Probably 2-3 meetings. Use Associated Green Slime in the seals for smooth action.

I had a 6.5 Hacker in my B44, It is great motor. Good price too. The can and endbell look exactly like a Novak if you compare the two. Highly recommended!

Just to add my $2, I found less grip roll once I removed the front roll bar on the B44, and kept the rear on. The car had more front 'push' but this saved it from flipping.
