I would be a little cautious about the GRP...
I would be a little cautious about the GRP chassis as it is a little on the flexible side so if you find the car to be a little snappy and sometimes hard to drive it could be the flex in the chassis....

2's lipo would have been better but 4cell nimh...
2's lipo would have been better but 4cell nimh would be just as good for what you plan to use.
Just make shure you look after nimh's by equalising every now and then and they should last you years....
