Default Cougar 2 BLACK & METALLIC BLUE CARBON FIBRE HYDRO DIPPED RESTORE !!
Hi all,

I have been working on the 2nd Cougar 2. I have stripped it and had the chassis and side plates hydro dipped in black and blue carbon fibre. I have also fitted new cougar 2 parts along the way.

I just have the turnbuckles to polish up and once fitted will post pictures of it tomorrow....

Default Hydro dipped carbon Cougar 2
Hi all,

Here are a few pictures of my fully restored Cougar 2.

Fitted are,

Hydro dipped chassis.
Hydro dipped gearbox plates.
GPM ALLOY center transmission case.
Cougar 2 WORKS shocks
Cougar 2 WORKS gear cover
Carbon fibre front tower (TEAM VERSION)
Carbon fibre rear tower (TEAM VERSION)
Black Jcracing wheels
New plastics where needed.
PRO diff.

I removed the new WASP ORANGE belt and fitted a new standard schumacher belt.

Happy with how its turned out.

Absolutely awesome I have 1 of those gear boxes needs a cleanup but didn't think you could fit a works gear cover to it hmmmmm more to think about

Retro, yes matey, the WORKS Cover fits,you will need a 89-86 spur gear otherwise anything bigger will rub, but is a perfect fit.......

The Cougars I have are,

1. New built Cougar 2 WORKS with box and all paper work.
1. Cougar 2 WORKS being restored at the min.
1. Cougar 2 restored as a runner.
1. Cougar 2 hydro dipped blue and black restored.
1. Cougar 2 TEAM with box and paper work. Im building this up next after the Cougar 2 WORKS is finished. Its a complete new TEAM with alloy rollers,ballraced steering, slipper and always missing battery bar. Managed to get a new red chassis for it.
1. Cougar 2 broke up for bits.

Plus alot of new in packet WORKS and TEAM stuff.

So 6 in total........

It was off CATS on here. I also had the new in packet WORKS chassis off him over 2 years ago......

Loving the Cougars though mate, oldies always did look the best!

Yes I ran the RC10 all last year over the Vega Gen 3. Yes parting with the TRF stuff.

So badly want a NIP chassis plate for my Works - I know where there are a few purple Works & red Cougar2 chassis Stateside - but the guy won't sell them

This is yet another quality build from the 'Lapper' Cougar2 production facility!
