Default X6 vs B4.1 chassis

Hi guys, just wondering is the X6 chassis much better than the B4.1? Its jst the prices are double that of the B4 its based on, so I figured it must offer some major improvement over it.

Thanks

Do you mean the "whole car" or just the "chassis" ?

B4 chassis are produced in MUCH bigger quantities so they can sell more at a lower price to cover the mould costs.

Ah sry, I waa origanally going to ask what the differance between the two were, but realised there are probably more differances than just the chassis but forgot to change the title.

Tough question to answer...price wise the cost is down to volume as cooper says.

As for performance, they are different handling cars, the X6 has the motor in front of the rear wheels, on the B4 the motor is behind the rear wheels...

Some would say that the X6 layout allows most people to be more consistent as the car is more balanced, however in the best hands, with the best setups, they are both world class handling cars!

It's a personal preference thing to some degree...and the answers you'll get will depend on what choice each person has made. For me, as an average driver, I find the X6 is easier to be consistent with, and is therefore faster for me!

Ask a B4 driver and they'll most likely tell you it's better for them. If your thinking of changing your car, best bet is to sneak a go on one sometime and see if you like it!

We have both cars running around at Caldicot, come and have a chat and see them next to each other next time your there to see the difference...common front end, completely different rear end basically.

I've often wondered about the consistency aspect, would it stop me crashing so much?

Andy, Dave, Owen & Ben all have X6s at Caldicot Mat, search them out and take a look compared to your B4.

Thanks guys, its not that I'm looking to change (I've made my bed ) but since I had tried to buy one before getting my B4.1 so I got to thinking what, if anything was better about the X6.

But that doesn't mean I won't have a nose
