Default Some of my RC10's

Some pictures of my new built never ran RC10 CE, this is one of my favorite vintage models.

I wish I could get some nice Newcastle Brown Ale decals

Nice! The wheels, the immaculate chassis, the white nylon... true RC porn Amazing paint Job too!

I also have an RC10 CE, bought well beaten and after some TLC, brung to a new life as a shelf queen and a roller.
I just love it, the handling is amazing, it's still one of the very best cars I've ever driven on a smooth track.

Unfortunately the Composite craft car is no longer, it has evolved into the model shown below, another never ran new build with many Andy's upgrades.

I won't ever run these models as the chassis are so easily damaged. I have a number of other vintage models that I run which are not in such pristine condition including both gold and black tub RC10s and a Graphite RC10 to mention only a couple

First of of all you need to know which tub you want, there are a few different version A,B,C, black, gold or powder coated (to name but a few) each one is applicable for different models and different eras.

Depending on which version you want will depend on how much it's going to cost you (and it will cost you), the interest in collecting RC10s has gone stratospheric in the last three years or so.

Unless you are lucky enough to happen upon one there's probably only one other place you have any real chance of getting one :-

http://www.rc10talk.com/

You'll need to spend some time there contributing to the forum first before you can obtain access to their buy/sell/trade section but it's worth it if you need old Associated parts.

The only problem is all the guys there are chasing new tubs and parts to.

There is another option:-

Now being reproduced by Fibre-Lyte with matching nose plate ££££££

Simplistically the first gold tubs produce were not stamped, the next were stamped with an "A" these were drilled and counter sunk for 6 gear transmissions only. Then the "B" chassis which were drilled and counter sunk for 6 gear and Stealth transmissions, the "C" chassis were a little different some were almost identical to the "B"s and some were drilled for both transmissions but only counter sunk for stealth, the shades of gold anodising also varied (it can be quite a task getting a chassis, nose plate and motor mount all with the same shade of gold) There are more differences but these are the main ones.

The ones you see on my cars pictured above are "B" chassis, for comparison the one below on my Andys Truck conversion is a new "A" chassis.

I also have a new, unused and unmounted gold "C" chassis

You can never have enough shiney tubs, anyway a Fibre-Lyte one would be cheaper

Thumbs up

Very nice cars, just realised I’ve spent a fair bit of time going through your TC showroom in the past.

Makes me wish I’d kept more of my old cars.

I was only joking maybe I picked the wrong smiley, however you do need to find someone wanting to sell one first. You're going to be looking at anything between £50 - £150 depending on the version and if the vendor knows what they're selling
