Smile X-6 axles

I know this has all ready been talked about but i just wanted to double check.
If your running an X-6 squared with losi shocks and the standard B4 axles and cvd's is this a problem?
If so will XF5660 resolve this? And would you need extra spacers?

Cheers

you can but you would need to put extra internal limiting in the shocks to stop the cvds popping out of the outdrives, if you were to run the longer axles you would need a spacer on the inside of the axle thats the width of a normal bearing on the car (bearing in hubs, front wheels etc) or you can just put an extra bearing on the inside of the axle!

So by running the longer axles, i woulnt have to use internal limiting in the shocks? this problem is resolved with the longer axles.
Cheers

Correct.

The axle spacers you would need to fit the XF5660 axles are the BK2 axle spacers, available from DMS

As posted a few minutes ago on another thread, use X Factory # 5660 and Losi #A3016. Many say they use an old 3/16 X 3/8 wheel bearing instead of the Losi spacer, but the spacer is lighter and looks better.

I've just checked with our marketing dept, and after much research and several focus groups they say D.M.S. should have all in stock. Our R & D dept does not know the focus groups exist, and the production dept says we don't need them. I just spin around in circles...

When the new axel is installed do you need to run a shorted turnbuckle on the rear?
