Oh, where's that? Can you give me the post code so maybe if we come, we'll just put that in my sat-nav.

Thanks!

It's a bit long way from where I live but... why not!

Do I have to register for it? Or can I just pop there, pay and race all day?

Okay.

I noticed that in Round 3 in Batley will be on 6th of December. Will there be no-body racing in Batley from now until 6th Dec?

I thought there'll be racing at Batley EVERY Sunday...

Default Batley Calendar

We intend to race as many Sundays as we can - weather permitting with the exception of the Blyth meetings which are part of the RHR/Batley Series.

Unfortunately, because of problems with the indoor venue at Batley Sports Centre (a new floor surface has been put down which is not suitable for indoor racing) we will be racing outdoors only this winter.

Keep a look out on the forum for up-to-date details.

Dianne

Thanks Dianne for the reply.

If I go to Batley this Sunday which is Blyth day, will there be anyone racing at Batley? Do people attend Batley often on every Sunday?

I think Blyth is too far to drive from where I live just for racing the R/C!

Dianne

What is it? Glass? Mud?

How about an 80% covered track, carpet etc??

its a new rubber surface, we tested a car on a piece and it the result was burnt in rubber marks on the piece.

It would take too long to put carpet up and take it down every time, so we would either have less racing time or increased cost if we needed the hall longer, just not worth it

Ah man..... it's not that far, I'll have already been on the road over 30 minutes when I pass Tadcaster! Derek and Paul will be coming from Scarborough too!

It's a good track, really easy to get to (less than 5 mins from A1 junction) and worth a drive

Oh well, in truth a lot of peeps seemed to be getting fed up with the place anyway, except John who must like racing on ice.

Seems we need a new indoor venue
