Default Tekin Vs Speed Passion - change

Just mulling changing from my Tekin RS Pro's to Speed Passion ESCs to go with the Speed Passion V3 motors I am running

As anyone else made this move or had experience of both brands?

Got a RS Pro in each car and would think of getting the LPF version for the 2WD and the GT Pro for the 4WD

Two of my mates tried the Tekin, neither of them thought much of it, one went back to his Nosram, the other went to Speed Passion, seems very happy with it.

I had an R1 Pro originally and then moved on to the RS Pro, which I'm still using. I must have been running Tekin for more than 2 years now and never had an issue. I've been more than happy with them.

Are you having problems Mike? If not, I suggest you stick with them.

Kev Lee's results can't be argued with and he certainly gives them a good workout - he's no shrinking violet on the throttle!

Think I'll see how I get on with them this year.

To be perfectly honest no issues at all apart from heat. Speed Passions seem to be the ESC of choice and run a lot cooler.

The LPF does have a fan, too! (I do not run with fan, however, as I only use quite mild motors.)
I have used an FX Pro and was quite happy with it. When I swiched to BL, I chose the LPF 1.1, and when I had some issues with it, was sent an LPF 2.0 by Toni Rheinard. I really like the easy programming and smooth operation of the SP ESCs (not even latest firmware yet), and the fact that the repaired 1.1 was returned for free as well!
