Default spektrum sr3000 receiver problems

hi guys just bought a dx2 set that came with a sr3000 receiver.

ive bench tested it and was fine so slapped it in my car but when i try to accelerate it cuts out.ive checked esc and motor but the led goes off on the receiver and esc seems fine.im running a ko propo vfs-1 esc with a 19turn stock motor.

could it be nackerd or is it something to do with the voltage on it?

i would be very greatfull for any info thanks ian
