Calendarisation is not the sole decision of any one individual but only agreed after a thorough process involving ALL the club and their representatives.

And Round 3 of the 4WD Regional Championship is 20 June at Plough Raceway, which will also be a demonstration event for the clubs landlord!

Rains stopped now.....lets hope it stays that way!

No racing, but at least we had a pretty good session in the rain with my silver Slash...

is it really waterproof? YES. Love it!

Cheers,

Default The weather spoils the fun

Is the meeting lost now or does it get re-arranged for another weekend? New to this

Andy

I guess this would have to be discussed with the other clubs in our region and then for Steve to announce.

One of two things could happen. 1 - We loose the round and the championship becomes the best 2 results from 3 rounds. 2 - The round is re-scheduled and the championship stays at best 3 from 4.

Either way, Steve will enlighten us when the time is right

Simon's sort of right! Rule 19.3 will apply.

19.3 At abandoned events where less than two rounds of qualifying have been completed, the event will be declared null and void and no results declared. National events will not be re-scheduled and any relevant championship qualification will be reduced accordingly (i.e. if there were 4 rounds to count from 6, then one abandoned event would mean there are 3 rounds to count from 5, etc.).
Regional events can be rescheduled (subject to 6.5, Regional rounds will not be held on the same day as a UK National event.) at the discretion of the Regional Rep. If an event is rescheduled to use a date not originally specified for any Class, then the number of events to count for the Regional Championship in that Class will be reduced accordingly (so it would be 2 from 3!), to allow competitors to achieve the minimum number of events using the original dates only (This means that competitors would not be disadvantaged if the re-arranged date was on a weekend that they could not attend).
If the normal Tie Deciding system of highest points does not achieve a result, then the highest Qualifying position at the last event in the Series for the Class will be used to decide the tie.

Clear!
I'll be looking to work with the EPR Committee and the other participating clubs to re-schedule the event but the 4WD Championship will now be decided on the basis of ANY 2 from 3 to count, i.e. if you can't attend the re-scheduled meeting you will still have the same Championship opportunities of those that can!

Please watch this space for any further announcements

Righto!

Following consultation with the EPR Committee I can now confirm that the Eden Park Raceway round of the 4WD Regional Championship which was cancelled on 02 May 2010 due to adverse weather has been re-scheduled.

The new date for the EPR round is now SUNDAY 11 JULY 2010

In-line with the re-arrangement the previously detailed ruling, Rule 19.3 applies.

Yes thats when we were all youthful and cared if we won
in them days thats all that mattered no massive mortgages etc
me and James Clifford have been racing at fav and we are proper close locked wheels etc and no yeilding from both of us but also no contact ,super sporting and and actually very rewarding to either win or lose fairly , just like we used too, you know proper heart in your mouth closeness like the astor/fav provide in abundance
Kev Lee raced up Faversham in the winter and really enjoyed it ( and won )
cheers James

Weird question Never had that one before!
No restriction just 'cos you weren't there, shame really as only a few of us attended the cancelled meeting, the points opportunities would be massive.....hmmm Regional variation me thinks!

Everybody's welcome, even you Scott!
Shame James can't make it I had a VERY interesting conversation lined up for him!!!
