Default ESC switches

I have 2 x Nosram speedos with broken switches, wires pulled out. Is it OK to permanently join up the wires or should I splice in a new switch? What do other people do or is it just me who busts switches??

Connecting them together works fine, I've had to do that before a few times. Generally the switch doesn't fail just a wire comes out, pull the cover off and you should be able to solder it back together fairly easily!

I can do it next meet if I'm about if your stuck (should be back up regularly now!)
