Not all brands have done this
Vampire this year have deliberatley submitted two budget version stick packs with lower mah and C rating for the very reasons outlined above (not everyone wants the most expensive packs) and to be honest the "top spec" Vampire packs are already very good value for money, the budget spec ones are even more so starting at just under £50.......

Vapextech also do a range not just top spec.
There is also a budget list if you look in the 1s listing. Maybe same could be done for 2s packs

Then kudos to them There's a hefty gap to be exploited at the lower end of the market and all it takes is for one brave distributor to break ranks.
If a decent spec £35 (for example) lipo was approved that distributor would probably be able to sell more than they could get their hands on. Other distributors would either have to follow that lead or lose sales, either by submitting existing budget cells or making the price tag of their premium products more appealing. Who knows, before long we could have almost have a free market economy in EB approved lipos and many of the club racers that currently source gear elsewhere would start spending money with UK shops again. Anyway, back on topic. Thanks for the list Nathan, my 2010 cells are still on it at least |

There maybe hundreds on the list but how many come out of the same factory? Hard to believe they are all unique. I wonder if turnigy are contractly not allowed to submit their lipos.
